Hola amigos de Hive. Aquí estoy nuevamente compartiendo con todos ustedes mis trabajos de costura.Hoy les quiero enseñar cómo hacer una bandana o diadema cruzada para el cabello. Para este proyecto elegí una tela blanca con un estampado de cerezas que me pareció súper fresco y tierno. Me encanta este modelo porque además de ser comodísimo para retirar el cabello del rostro le da un toque muy coqueto y lindo a cualquier look del día a día.Hacerla es bastante sencillo y rápido así que es un proyecto ideal si tienen retazos de tela guardados en casa. Doble el rectángulo más grande de la tela y corte dos rectángulos,y también corte las parte de las tiras que amarraran la parte de atrás de la bandana,para eso corte dos rectángulos mas largos.

✨Modo de confección

Para realizar esta carterita dividí el trabajo en tres momentos: la creación de su estructura, la formación de los compartimentos y la colocación del cierre y los accesorios.

1. Pasos para crear la estructura de la carterita

En la parte superior y centrada dibujé un rectángulo de 27 centímetros de largo por 12 centímetros de alto, que daría forma a la tapa. # ![1000037593.jpg](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/marydeluz/AK9QCzZ6K3hM8Zbe9KQymDJpnnA225tQy2vMh2oGjdXbVhvZgATg5qHEg1KewMU.jpg) # Como mis telas eran pequeños retazos, primero cosí las piezas blancas y marrones hasta conseguir dos superficies del tamaño necesario. Después coloqué el patrón sobre ambas telas, marqué su contorno con ayuda de un lapicero y tiza, y corté siguiendo las líneas trazadas.

Una vez obtenidas las dos piezas, enfrenté sus lados delanteros, las cosí alrededor, dejando una pequeña abertura para voltearlas. Finalmente, cerré esa abertura con unas puntadas.

2. Pasos para la creación de los compartimentos

Desde ese punto realicé una costura vertical hacia abajo.

Luego abrí nuevamente la estructura y coloqué la parte blanca hacia el frente, acomodando los pliegues que se habían formado. Levanté la parte inferior hacia arriba, hasta llegar justo antes de la tapa, y cosí los pliegues centrales.

De esta manera quedaron conformadas tres divisiones, que permiten guardar por separado el teléfono, las tarjetas y otros pequeños accesorios.

3. Pasos para colocar el cierre y los accesorios

También incorporé un botón decorativo en la parte superior.

Como quería que tuviera un agarre, aproveché una cadenita que tenía en desuso y la cosí en los laterales interiores, debajo de la tapa.

Hello, my dear creative friends! Today, I’m absolutely thrilled to stop by and share a project that I’m just in love with: my new cosplay, crafted entirely at home! 🏡✨
Sometimes we think that having a great costume requires spending a fortune, but the truth is that the real magic lies in creativity. For my outfit, I found the base pieces by digging through my own closet, giving a second life to garments I no longer wore. As for the accessories, I decided to roll up my sleeves and make them myself, using recycled materials I had on hand—things like colored cardstock, glue, tin cans, and so on. The result not only surprised me, but it also goes to show that with a little bit of imagination, we can create some truly incredible things.

My outfit consists of a black jumpsuit and a matching blouse; I’ve had the striped tights for a while, and the black sneakers are super comfortable.

Butterfly Design Tutorial Using Colored Paper

Butterflies are truly inspiring, and they carry many meaningful messages for us. So, along with the drawing, I am sharing a tutorial on how to create a special, eye-catching butterfly through a fun craft project.

Art is always a beautiful endeavor, requiring both patience and a spontaneous connection to the moment. Creating art is not necessarily difficult; rather, it depends primarily on the level of interest you bring to it. In this guide, I will walk you through each step of creating this particular drawing, which I hope you will find both engaging and enjoyable. I trust you will have a wonderful time following along. Furthermore, this drawing process will help you understand how to bring a butterfly to life through artistic expression and creative thinking.

Necessary all equipments

Colour paper
Sky blue paper
2B pencil
*B-7000 glue
Marker pen
Scissors
Eraser
Sharpener
Scale
Diamond pencil

First, I gathered all the necessary practical supplies and kept them within reach. Then, I took some colored paper. Following that, I prepared an attractive sketch, outlining the butterfly's body and its wings.

After that, I trimmed the side sections, and I also made an effort to cut them neatly and evenly, following this specific design.

Here, you can see an attractive butterfly, beautifully crafted on special sky-blue colored paper through drawing and paper-cutting techniques.

Next, to make the lower part of this special butterfly more attractive, I attached a piece of green-colored paper using B-7000 glue.

Next, I trimmed the excess colored paper to the desired size using scissors. Then, I used a pencil to carefully sketch out the design with fine, delicate lines. Following this, I completed the drawing of this unique butterfly using a marker pen. I further refined the artwork with Doms colored pencils and a 'diamond' pencil (a pencil with a shimmering or glittery effect). Additionally, I incorporated specific details into the central and front sections of the design using the diamond pencil.

Next, I took a small piece of paper, folded it neatly four times, and cut it with scissors to create this special design.

Hola a toda mi gente de Hive... 🐱

Hoy voy a continuar con una colección que he venido haciendo de simples y sencillas frutas decorativas, a las cuales les pueden dar usos variados, pueden decorar cajas, bolsas, convertirlos en dijes para collar, zarcillos, colgantes entre otras cosas.

Para hoy le traigo un Mango decorativo, realizada en la técnica de quilling.

Esperando que sea de su agrado, les dejo mi proceso creativo:

Comencemos:😃

• Cintas para quilling.
• Aguja para quilling.
• Corrugadora de papel.
• Pega blanca extra fuerte (de carpintería).
• Pincel.
• Tijera.

• Quilling paper strips.
• Quilling needle.
• Paper corrugator.
• Extra-strong white glue (woodworking glue).
• Paintbrush.
• Scissors.

• Take a 3-mm-wide yellow quilling strip and feed it through a paper crimper on the narrower side.

• I took the needle and picked up the corrugated strip, rolling it up until I reached the end without applying too much pressure so as not to damage the corrugation. I sealed it with extra-strong white glue and removed it from the needle. This will give us a semi-open, corrugated circle.

• I then shaped it with my fingers into a handle, just as you can see in the picture.

• Vamos a tomar cinta para quilling de color amarillo de 3 mm de ancho, procedí a pasar por una corrugadora de papel por el lado más delgado.

• Tomé la aguja y tome la tira corrugada la enrollé hasta llegar al final de la misma sin hacer mucha presión para no dañar el corrugado, selle con pega blanca extra fuerte y saque de la aguja. Obtendremos un círculo semi abierto corrugado.

• Procedí a moldear con los dedos en forma de mango tal y como pueden ver en la imagen.

• Now let's move on to the leaves. I took some 3-mm-wide green ribbon, wound it around the needle, and formed an open circle. We'll need two of these.

• Then I shaped both circles into leaves.

• I took another piece of 3 mm wide green ribbon, made several folds, applying glue between each one, let it dry thoroughly, and then shaped it. You can see the shape I gave it in the step-by-step image.

• Once all the pieces were ready, I assembled them using extra-strong white glue.

• Finally, to protect and laminate my decorative mango-shaped figure, I applied several layers of extra-strong white glue, letting each layer dry before applying the next.

This is how I finished this decorative mango using the quilling technique.

Hola buenos dias amigos de #Diyhub en esta oportunidad hice un pequeño tutorial de un porta papel higienico, lo hice con foami y silicon liquido frio, porque como se va tanto la luz pues no da chance, ademas por alguna razon lo use y no pegaba. asi que use el otro silicon y unas pinzas.

Hello, friends at #Diyhub! This time, I’ve put together a short tutorial for a toilet paper holder. I made it using craft foam (foami) and cold liquid craft glue—partly because the frequent power outages make it difficult to use a hot glue gun, and also because, for some reason, the hot glue just wasn't sticking. So, I opted for the cold glue instead, along with some clips to hold everything in place.

Tambien le coloque paletas adentro para darle mas estabilidad y dureza a mi invento.

I also added slats inside to give my invention more stability and rigidity.

Esta idea viene de querer tapar el papel porque ultimamente hay mucho animalito que hay , tambien quiero hacre uo de tela rpoximamente lo estare haciendo. Me tomo 2 horas hacerlo ee quiero corrgir algo en la tapta para que nole queden espacios abiertos. Pase varios dias sin publicar por los problemas de la luz y el internet, pero bueno por lo menos logre hacer algo.

This idea stems from a desire to cover up the paper—there have been so many little animal designs lately. I also want to make one out of fabric; I’ll be doing that soon. I went several days without posting due to issues with electricity and the internet, but well, at least I managed to get something done.

¡Hola, querida comunidad! 🐈‍⬛ Primeramente, buenos días, porque son apenas las 7am de la mañana. Aprovechando que está muy temprano, quería compartirles otra manualidad. Pronto estaré mostrando otro estilo, pero hoy quise hacer un lindo gatito, ya que los gatos negros son un símbolo clásico de Halloween, así que esta publicación tratará sobre eso. Realmente me está gustando bastante trabajar con el foami moldeable porque siento que puedo explotar mi creatividad, y aparte de que me relaja muchísimo. Es muy cómodo y tiene muy buena textura.

📝 Paso a paso

Step by step

1️⃣ La calabaza (o auyama)

Para empezar, mezclé amarillo y rojo para crear el color naranja. Combiné bien para que el color quedara parejo. Con una tijera le hice pequeñas líneas alrededor para darle la textura de la calabaza. (Dato curioso: en mi país, Venezuela, a la calabaza también se le dice "auyama").

To start, I mixed yellow and red to create the orange color. I combined them well so the color would be even. With scissors, I made small lines around it to give it the pumpkin texture. (Fun fact: in my country, Venezuela, pumpkin is also called "auyama").

2️⃣ El tallo y las hojas

Para el tallito de arriba, combiné tres colores: amarillo, azul y rojo, de donde salió el color marrón. Le di su forma y le hice unas pequeñas marcaciones o cortes para darle más realismo. Luego, con el foami verde (usando el color normal tradicional de la bolsita), hice la enredadera y las hojitas.

For the little stem on top, I combined three colors: yellow, blue and red, which gave me the brown color. I shaped it and made some small marks or cuts to give it more realism. Then, with the green foam (using the traditional normal color from the bag), I made the vine and little leaves.

3️⃣ El cuerpo del gatito

Con foami negro, hice un pequeño círculo que viene siendo su cara. Para la parte de su cuerpo, hice otra pelotita con foami negro para darle soporte sobre la calabaza. Para las orejas, hice un pequeño rectángulo y lo pegué encima del círculo. También le hice su patica y su colita (que estiré y doblé en espiral para que saliera por un lado de la calabaza).

With black foam, I made a small circle for its face. For the body, I made another little ball with black foam to give it support on the pumpkin. For the ears, I made a small rectangle and glued it on top of the circle. I also made its little paw and its tail (which I stretched and curled into a spiral so it would come out on one side of the pumpkin).

Backstory for writing this article: After we recently narrowed down our categories a few comments and discord messages reached us asking what a "tutorial" is in our eyes and what distinguishes them from "simple" documentations. To have an answer for that up our sleeve we decided to write down some tips so we can use this post as a response for all of these messages. Work smart not hard, right?

1 What is the difference between tutorials and documentations?

It sounds easy but there are very blurry boundaries between writing documentation and writing an actual tutorial. Assuming the documentation is about a process to achieve a defined result: The more detailed this documentation gets the more it fits into the realm of tutorials we think.

Because a tutorial describes also the completion of a task but its focus lays on repeatability. Tutorials are mostly structured in steps where each step contains details and little side notes of the subtask (see "2.1 Structure" for more). Documenting a process often keeps the little but important details out of focus. Most of the time a documentation does not have the repeatability as a goal and is only showing the progress to a desired result. It is also not easy for us as curators to distinguish between the two and most of the time this decision is very subjective.

2 What makes a good tutorial?

2.1 Structure

The structure is as important as the focus on repeatability for a good tutorial. The whole process should be separated in steps and perhaps even substeps which can get separated on multiple ways but most of the time we use headlines for that (more on that under "2.4 Formatting matters").

Take your time before actually starting to write an article to think about the structure. It helps if you outline the tutorial and build a set of step with headlines and subheadlines you can later focus to work out as paragraphs. This way you support yourself with the needed central thread to never lose track of the bigger picture and what you want to transport with the article.

A common structure would be:

Intro (What will be the result)
Preriquisites (What is needed before start)
Steps (practical doing)
- Step 1
  - substep 1.1
  - substep 1.2
- Step ...
Outro (Recap and Call-To-Action)

You can imagine each step of the tutorial as a little tutorial on its own. Perhaps there is even the need to work in a specific intro and outro for each step to make everything as clear as possible. If the viewer pauses a tutorial it should be easy for them to get back where they have stopped. Try to include noticable different images for each step so the eye can find the paragraph more easily without the need to read but always keep a global style in mind.

Welcome to @DIYHUB! We are a curation initiative aiming to support HIVE users who put in the effort to share their knowledge with the blockchain. In order to provide a high quality community and curation project we have decided to set up and write down a few content requirements your post should fulfill and to define target niches we curate in. More on that in this FAQ.

The following list of requirements acts as a guideline for:
-- you: to help you creating better content and upgrading the quality of your posts
-- our curators: to decide if a content has enough quality for a curation
-- our delegators: so they know what kind of content we support with their valuable delegation.
The list of target niches shows transparently on what kinds of content we focus with our curation.

Make sure to follow our blog to not miss any upcoming changes on those parts. We are constantly working to improve our initiative and for that changes of the requirements and target niches are needed.

One of our long term goals is to build an active community full of practical knowledge shared by creators all around the world. The community and curation should be fair for everyone while showing our delegators that their delegation is in good hands.

Content quality is often subjective but there are also objective factors making a post a high value piece of content. That's why we have set up a few "rules" a post should fulfill in order to get the chance of being curated by us.

Of course the quality improvement of your post does not end with fulfilling our requirements. Make sure to work in more elements that provide additional information on the topic of the post just like: links to external ressources and hive posts (your own or others), visualization of information with graphics / videos and side notes to let the reader understand the topic and process even more.

Rules

1. original content only

We do not accept any content theft and will mute a creator from our community when this happens. Please take the time to add sources to your quotes and give credits if needed.

2. show a process / write a tutorial

We are not curating "only results" (anymore) because one of our key ideals is that sharing knowledge is the key to a vital community where everyone benefits from the content. A basic human need is to learn new things and there is no better platform than hive for that in our opinion. Creators who put more effort in explaining things automatically work on their content creation skills and give the viewer valuable input. Additionally we only curate programing and art posts if they are tutorials to not intersect with other communities. (more on that under "target niches")

3. main language is English

To ensure an active community with valuable discussions in the comment sections we think that one default language is beneficial. Of course you can still share bi-lingual posts and we are also not going to be mad if you comment on a post in spanish. But a post should at least contain English content to be valid for a curation.

4. at least 200 words per language

We strongly believe that 200 words is a minimum in order to share a full process or tutorial on a specific topic. Often we as creators forget to explain the small details a viewer needs to know when following the post. Also side notes, links and additional information on the topic is upgrading the quality of a post and encourages comment discussions. Many times the behind the scenes content is what stuck most in our heads and what we remember the best. So share a few more words on how, why, when and so on to earn some more exposure on the long run.

Edit: We have excluded 3pseak videos from this rule so a video description has no restriction for its length BUT the video should be at least 1min long and fulfill the other requirements.
