We want people to see us as successful, intelligent, confident and perfect, but the truth is that nobody has everything figured out. Everyone has something they are struggling with, something they wish they could change, or something they are still learning to overcome.

‎I came across a message that says, "You are strong when you know your weaknesses. You are beautiful when you appreciate your flaws. You are wise when you learn from your mistakes." Honestly, these words carry a lesson that many of us need to understand.
‎
‎For me, knowing your weaknesses is not a sign of failure. It is a sign that you understand yourself. There are things I know I am good at, and there are also things I know I need to improve on. For example, working as a plumbing technician has taught me that experience does not mean you know everything. Every day can come with a different challenge, and sometimes you have to ask questions, seek advice or learn a better way to handle a particular problem. Pretending to know everything will only limit your opportunity to grow.
‎
‎Another thing I have come to understand is that our flaws do not make us less valuable. We all have imperfections. Some people are not good at expressing their feelings, some struggle with patience, while others find it difficult to make certain decisions. Instead of allowing these imperfections to make us feel inferior, we should learn to accept ourselves while making genuine efforts to become better.
‎
‎Mistakes are another important part of life. I don't believe anyone can go through life without making mistakes. I have made decisions I would probably handle differently today, but I also understand that those experiences have contributed to the person I am becoming. What matters is not how many times we get things wrong, but whether we are willing to learn from them.
‎
‎One thing I have noticed is that some people keep repeating the same mistakes because they are more interested in defending themselves than accepting where they went wrong. There is no shame in admitting that you made a mistake. Sometimes, saying "I was wrong" is one of the strongest things a person can do.
‎
‎Life is not a competition to become perfect. It is a journey of learning, accepting ourselves and becoming better with each passing day.
‎
‎Know your weaknesses, appreciate your imperfections and never stop learning from your mistakes. You don't have to be perfect to be valuable, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you can become a better version of yourself
‎
‎Image Used Is Ai Generated
‎
‎
‎

Life is a long, unpredictable road made up of lessons, chapters, and, above all, the people who cross our paths. Some people enter our lives like a warm breeze, bringing light and positivity, while others pass through like a sudden storm, leaving behind valuable lessons carved in experience. When we look back at our personal histories, we realize that we are largely shaped not just by our triumphs, but by the personal trials and complex relationships we navigated along the way.

In this post, I want to take a look back at four specific chapters from my past. These are stories about trust, heartbreak, friendship, and the hard realizations that ultimately taught me how to set boundaries, protect my energy, and value genuine connections.

Giannis and Anna: When Friendship and Love Collide
One of the sharpest lessons in loyalty I ever experienced involved two people I held very close to my heart: my old friend Giannis and a woman named Anna.

Anna and I had a genuine connection. We shared time together, built memories, and I developed deep, sincere feelings for her. Giannis was someone I considered a solid friend—someone who was in my inner circle and knew what Anna meant to me. In an ideal world, the unwritten rules of friendship protect those vulnerable spaces. You trust that the people in your circle respect your feelings and hold your confidence sacred.

Unfortunately, reality took a painful turn. Behind the scenes, Giannis chose to pursue Anna, and the two of them ultimately got together. Finding out that someone you considered a close brother crossed that line with someone you cared deeply about is a unique kind of sting.

It isn't just about the heartbreak of losing a romantic connection; it's the sudden collapse of trust on two distinct fronts simultaneously. That situation taught me an early, unforgettable lesson about human nature: not everyone views loyalty through the same lens, and sometimes the people closest to you are the ones least equipped to respect your boundaries.

Anastasia: A Betrayal of Pure Intention
If the situation with Giannis and Anna was a double shock to my trust, my time with Anastasia was a deep, personal lesson in romantic betrayal.

When I fall for someone, I don't do it halfway. I entered my relationship with Anastasia with complete openness, honesty, and a genuine desire to build something meaningful. I poured real emotion, care, and effort into our bond, believing that the foundation we were laying was mutual and strong.

However, as time went on, the truth slowly unravelled. Anastasia betrayed my love and the trust I had placed in her. Realizing that the emotional investment you freely gave was met with deception is a heavy pill to swallow. It makes you question your judgment, your intuition, and how open you should allow yourself to be in the future.

Processing that betrayal required a lot of reflection, but it ultimately taught me an invaluable lesson: loving deeply is never a weakness, but giving unconditional trust without clear boundaries can leave you vulnerable to those who don't treasure your heart.

Nikos and Ilias: The One-Sided Living Arrangement
Not all indelible marks come from romantic heartbreaks—some come from the slow, daily erosion of respect in everyday living situations. That was precisely the case when I moved in with two friends, Nikos and Ilias.
At first, living together sounded like a great idea.

Sharing a space with friends often seems like a fun, collaborative step forward. But what started as an exciting new chapter quickly turned into a one-sided financial burden. For an entire year, Nikos and Ilias completely checked out when it came to household responsibilities and financial contributions. Rent, utilities, shared expenses, daily household needs—it continuously fell on my shoulders to keep things running while they lived comfortably on my dime without contributing a single cent.

Month after month, I held out hope that they would step up, take responsibility, and pull their own weight. But as the 12-month mark approached, it became crystal clear that the situation was never going to change because it was entirely too convenient for them.

Deciding to finally pack my things and walk away from that apartment was a massive turning point. It taught me that friendship cannot survive without reciprocity, and enabling bad behavior under the guise of being "a good friend" only harms you in the end.

Thomas: The Price of a Borrowed Thousand
Perhaps one of the most straightforward yet bitter lessons in financial boundaries involved my former friend Thomas.

Sometimes, you need to calm down and think before you react because the way you handle a situation can either save you from trouble or put you in in a problem you never expected.
https://img.leopedia.io/DQmNwyqfz8CnNhZ7KStrgD7hVjUdx5PD4zHMLQAj6hQ6PGS/1000289990.jpg

Pixabay

Imagine fighting someone who has more power than you in a particular situation. You may be right, and the person may be wrong, but if you don't handle things carefully, you might end up suffering more than the person who offended you.

Imagine you have been working for your boss for one whole month. You have been going to work every day, doing your job and waiting patiently for your salary. Payday is just two days away, and you already have plans for the money. Maybe you want to pay your house rent, settle some bills or send money to your family.

Then suddenly, an argument breaks out between you and your boss, instead of trying to settle the matter peacefully, you allow anger to take over. You start insulting him, threatening him and saying things you might not have said if you were calm.

Now, your boss gets angry too and tells you to follow him to the police station to write an undertaking, or you risk not getting your salary. At that moment, you begin to regret how everything happened, you have worked for a whole month, but now you are facing another problem because of an argument that might have been handled differently.

You now start saying that your boss has cheated you but let me ask you something did you really think about the possible outcome before allowing your anger to push you that far? I'm not saying the boss is always right. No! Some bosses are wicked, and some people in positions of authority take advantage of others because they believe nobody can challenge them. If you have worked for your money, you deserve to be paid. Nobody should use their position to intimidate you or deny you what you have rightfully earned.

However, there is a difference between standing up for yourself and acting out of anger without thinking about what might happen next. Sometimes, the problem is not that we don't know our rights. The problem is that we don't know how to handle situations when we are angry. We want to prove a point immediately, even when doing so might put us in a worse position.

The truth is that you cannot control how other people behave, but you can control how you respond to them. Your boss may insult you, your neighbour may provoke you, or someone may try to make you feel less important. You don't have to react to everything just to prove that you are not weak.

There are times when keeping quiet for a moment is better than saying something you will regret later. There are times when walking away is better than exchanging words with someone who is only waiting for you to make a mistake and sometimes, you need to be patient, gather your evidence and handle the matter through the right channel instead of allowing anger to make things worse.

This is something we should all learn. Before you enter into a fight with anyone, think about the situation very well. What are you trying to achieve? What could happen if things get out of hand? Is there another way to solve the problem? These questions can save you from unnecessary stress. Don't get me wrong, being calm does not mean you are a coward, and choosing your battles does not mean you are afraid of anybody, It simply means you understand that your peace of mind and your future are more important than proving a point to someone.

If you have already made a mistake out of anger, learn from it. Don't allow pride to push you into making another mistake. And if someone is withholding your salary or treating you unfairly, look for a safe and lawful way to address the issue. Don't allow a few minutes of anger to put you into a problem that could take months to solve.

Life is already difficult enough, we should learn to think before we act, especially when we are dealing with people who have some kind of power over our situation. Sometimes, the wisest thing you can do is not to fight back immediately, but to understand the situation and choose the right way to respond.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day

I'm 40 years old and I genuinely love testing new software at night after my long day shifts — yet I've become the biggest skeptic of blind automation in my friend group. Why? It makes us lazy. About 2 weeks ago, I caught myself staring at my phone screen for 5 minutes just trying to write a simple birthday message to my cousin without using an auto-complete tool. That moment hit me hard. If we hand over our basic human warmth to a predictive text box — even for tiny daily chores — we slowly forget how to talk like real people.

You've probably noticed this weird shift in your own routine lately too. We used to buy digital tools to save time on boring math — now those same apps want to think and feel on our behalf. What's the catch? You lose your sharp edge. When everything comes pre-packaged by an algorithm, your brain stops fighting through the messy friction that actually builds real skill. I decided to run a little experiment on myself last Tuesday night — turning off every smart suggestion on my phone and going back to a cheap paper notebook for my personal notes. My handwriting looked awful. Still, sitting there scratching ink onto actual paper forced my tired brain to wake up — and tbh, I felt more alive in 20 minutes than I had all week.

Don't get me wrong — I'm not throwing my smartphone out the window anytime soon. Technology is great when it acts like a bicycle for our minds instead of a wheelchair that weakens our legs. How do we fix this? We set strict boundaries. Whenever I test a new program at night now, I ask myself one blunt question before I let it into my life — does this tool help me build something better, or does it just turn me into a passive spectator? Most fail in 3 minutes. Real human creativity needs a bit of struggle and a few dumb mistakes along the way — because that's where our actual personality lives.

We're living in an era where anyone can generate 10 pages of polished text in 2 seconds — which means perfection is now completely worthless and boring. What actually stands out today? Raw human flaws. People are starving for a real voice — someone who admits they're tired after work and shares an honest opinion that wasn't polished by a machine. That's pretty much why I'm using this space to talk about real life and human habits alongside my tech experiments. I'd rather write 4 messy paragraphs with my own brain than publish a thousand fake masterpieces — so tell me, what's one digital shortcut you've recently ditched to keep your mind sharp?

Nhee Phaya was first established in 2005. I myself witnessed the traditional ceremony of carrying Nhee Phaya to the current hill when I was a child. While visiting Nhee Phaya, you can enjoy the peaceful scenery on the hill. There are shops in Nhee Phaya where you can buy local produce and souvenirs.
We arrived at Nhee Phaya at around 4 pm. There were only a few pilgrims. The weather was cloudy and sometimes sunny.
My target for this year in the Rising Star game is to accumulate 1 million skill points. I currently have 737,315 skill points. To reach this goal, I need to accumulate at least 2,680 skill points per day. Since a single Drum Lesson yields 3,500 skill points, I need to complete at least one Drum Lesson each day. Running a Drum Lesson requires Starpro tokens, which can be obtained through the Music Promoter mission. The Music Promoter mission, in turn, requires Starbits; spending 1 million Starbits in the Music Promoter mission yields 0.020514 Starpro. Each Drum Lesson costs 0.0023 Starpro to run. Therefore, I need 0.0023 Starpro daily to complete at least one Drum Lesson.

Today, I purchased and opened 10 packs in the Rising Star game. The cards I received were of the Rare and Common types. This time, I managed to accumulate more Luck points because I pulled a higher number of Instrument cardswhich provide more Luck points compared to other types of cards.

Today's CryptoBloggers Digest digs into security failures, custody counterparty risk, and the slow move of plumbing institutions onto chains. The lead slot goes to a Korean exchange hacked through an internal system. We also have a replayed bitcoin loan history, a DTCC tokenization launch, and one agent's bidding log with real numbers.

CoinDesk · by Shaurya Malwa
Bithumb says the breach came through an internal employee system it considers separate from its trading platform, and it has not yet determined whether customer information was exposed. The piece places it among attacks on several South Korean financial firms, which makes it a sector story rather than a single bad day for one exchange.

🎉 Philippine Celebrations & Community in Hong Kong

Posted by @ana101321, Domestic Helper in Hong Kong

Hey family! 👋

I have some lighter, uplifting news to share with you today — because sometimes we all need to celebrate how our community comes together in Hong Kong!

📢 Two Recent Stories About Filipino Community in HK

📰 Story #1: New Shelter for Filipino Helpers

"New shelter for Filipino helpers in Hong Kong awaits government green light"

Published: June 15, 2026 (4 months ago)

Key point: Philippine government has identified a new facility in Tai Po

Significance: Will be bigger and more comfortable than the previous 652 sq ft, three-bedroom unit

Reaction: "Community 'very, very happy'" about the promised improvement

Purpose: To provide better support for distressed Filipino domestic workers

📰 Story #2: Jie Jie Day Celebration

"Hong Kong students honour over 400 foreign domestic helpers as 'second mothers'"

Published: March 13, 2026 (7 months ago)

Event: Renaissance College's annual "Jie Jie Day"

Meaning: "Jie Jie" = older sister in Chinese — a day of appreciation

Activities: Cultural games, raffle draws, networking opportunities

Scale: Over 400 foreign domestic helpers gathered

Purpose: To honor helpers as "second mothers" to the students

🌟 What These Celebrations Mean for Our Community

Story #1: The Shelter Situation

Current status: The new Tai Po villa is awaiting government approval ("green light")

Why this matters:

The current shelter is only 652 sq ft for many women in crisis

The new facility will be bigger and more comfortable

Represents government recognition of helper needs

Still awaiting official opening, but progress!

How helpers can stay informed:

Check with Philippine Consulate for updates

Follow Hong Kong Domestic Helpers Hub for announcements

Stay connected with Filipino helper communities in HK

Story #2: Jie Jie Day — A Beautiful Tradition

"Renaissance College's annual 'Jie Jie Day' engages participants with cultural games, raffle draws and networking opportunities"

What a beautiful concept! "Jie Jie" means older sister in Chinese, and this day is dedicated to honoring the domestic helpers who care for students' families.

Key details from the article:

Over 400 helpers attended the event

Activities included cultural games — sharing traditions from both Filipino and Hong Kong cultures

Raffle draws with gifts for participants

Networking opportunities — connecting helpers from different households

Honorary recognition as "second mothers" to the students

Why this matters:
This is the kind of cross-cultural appreciation that makes Hong Kong special. When students and institutions recognize the vital role helpers play in their lives, it:

✅ Validates the essential work we do
✅ Builds bridges between cultures
✅ Creates moments of joy in demanding jobs
✅ Shows our younger generation what gratitude looks like

🤝 How Communities Can Support Helpers

These two stories show different approaches to helping Filipino domestic workers in Hong Kong:

Type

Story #1

Story #2

Focus

Crisis support / shelter

Appreciation / celebration

Scale

Government-led

School-led

Impact

Structural support

Emotional/relational

Timeline

Awaiting approval

Already happening

The ideal combination: Both kinds of support are needed — structural safety nets AND relational appreciation.

💬 Reflection

Reading about these two stories gave me mixed but hopeful feelings:

🟢 About the new shelter: Relief that the community and government are responding to the need for better crisis support for sisters in distress. Progress takes time, but moving in the right direction.

🟢 About Jie Jie Day: Pure joy. Imagine — over 400 helpers gathered, honored as "second mothers," playing cultural games, winning raffles, building community. This is the kind of recognition that lifts spirits and reminds us we're valued.

Both stories remind me: The Filipino helper community in Hong Kong is not invisible. We are seen, appreciated, and supported by various sectors of Hong Kong society — from government initiatives to school communities.

The world today

If I had the opportunity to organize a dinner to change the world, I would bring together five highly influential public figures—advocates for liberty and liberalism whom I have followed for years. It would not be so much about the questions I might ask, but rather the answers they would provide and the approaches they would propose for the many problems facing humanity.

My goal would not be to seek a comfortable consensus, but to spark a profound, clear, and direct debate on how to reclaim the values of liberty—addressing the inalienable rights of the individual, public safety, and the cultural battle against statism—in order to set an example for other nations.

The five guests of honor who would sit at my table, chosen for their respective ideologies, are:

Javier Milei: Currently the President of Argentina and a candidate for the next term, he is an economist and a leading global proponent of the ideas of liberty and the drastic reduction of the state apparatus. His core philosophy is best summarized by his statement: "Liberalism is the unrestricted respect for the life project of others, based on the non-aggression principle and the defense of the right to life, liberty, and private property."

Nayib Bukele: Currently the President of El Salvador, he is internationally recognized for his radical, firm stance against the most dangerous gang members in the Americas, as well as for his success in combating criminal syndicates, crime, and corruption. His core philosophy prioritizes the human rights of victims over those of criminals.

Axel Káiser: Lawyer, writer, and prominent liberal intellectual—a key figure in the theoretical dismantling of collectivism in Hispanic America and a champion of individual liberties. His core principle is that society should be granted equality before the law, never equality through the law.

Agustín Laje: A political scientist and writer, he is a key figure in the resistance and the "culture war" against the progressive and globalist hegemony. His central thesis exposes how leftist movements exploit democratic institutions—infiltrating and transforming them from within—in order to destroy them.

Abelardo de la Espriella: A recent president of Colombia—a lawyer, businessman, and staunch defender of the free market, private property, and the rule of law—he is determined to eradicate the drug trade that has plagued Colombia for decades; a scourge that previous presidents had effectively agreed not to eliminate—a pattern seen in many other countries.

Throughout the dinner, I would pose questions designed to clarify how they have achieved success in their government administrations—specifically regarding the economy, education, the justice system, and civil liberties—while also raising direct challenges aimed at translating ideas into concrete actions:

How can free-market reforms be safeguarded to prevent societies from sliding back into an impoverishing populism?

Is it possible to replicate a security model based on law and order within fragile democracies, without eroding constitutional guarantees in the long term?

How can the "culture war" be decisively won—within public and private institutions, as well as in the mass media?

How can one exert influence to bring about positive change?

How are you?

I hope you are all doing fine.

Today, I would like to share the Chibi drawing for "Mylah," an NFT card from the Rising Star Game.

Image Created with Canva

Mylah
Is a NFT card in the Rising Star Game. It has 10 fans and 5 skill. This Rising Star Card combines comedy and music. Its jokingly claimed that the character can hold a melody for at least 3 seconds! Well, at least I own one of these NFT card haha.

Drawing Chibi for 121 "Mylah"

First, I used Gemini to help generate the initial outlines. I imported the resulting outlines into IbisPaintX and created a new layer underneath to work on. This gave me the initial outline sketch. And I had to checked and redraw to make sure that the lines were connected each other well. Becaue, if the lines were not connected each other well I can not do drawing well in comming drawing procress.

Secondly, I choosed the color for base and added into each part by using bucket. The reason I can add the base color so easily is that the lines are properly connected. if you are starting to use Ibis Paint drawing app this way help your drawing. After base color adding, I started drawing the eyes and hair shades. Remove any skin-tone colors from within the eye area. Then, add shadows around the eyes; for the hair, use simple white lines to highlight the shadows.

In the third step, I selected a color using the airbrush pen and drew the nose and mouth. Since the shirt and the belt were both black, I used simple white lines to create a distinction between them. Next, the shading and highlights for the trousers were drawn. For the background, a color between brown and gray was chosenone that would make Mylah stand out more. Following this, the frame and text were added. In the end, a cute, Chibi-style illustration of Mylah emerged.

Football is more than touchdowns, interceptions, and final scores. With NFL Squares, every quarter creates another opportunity for fans to get involved in the game.

At BGA SportsCenter, part of the BlockGators Army Advertising Network, we’re combining traditional football entertainment with modern web technology, automated scoring, and Waves blockchain payment integration.

But how does NFL Squares actually work? How are winning numbers determined? And what technology makes the platform operate?

Let’s break it down!

🏈 What Is NFL Squares?

NFL Squares is a football score-based game played on a 10 × 10 grid containing 100 squares.

One NFL team appears along the horizontal axis, and the opposing team appears along the vertical axis.

Each team is assigned numbers from 0 through 9, with each digit appearing once on its axis.

Players select available squares on the board. After the game’s number-generation conditions are satisfied, randomized numbers are assigned to the team axes.

Every square represents a unique combination of two numbers.

For example, imagine your square has:

Cleveland Browns: 7

Tennessee Titans: 4

Your square matches whenever the applicable score digits are 7 for Cleveland and 4 for Tennessee.

You don’t necessarily need to predict which team will win the football game. Your goal is to hold the square matching the numbers produced by the applicable scoring period.

🏆 How Does Quarter-by-Quarter Scoring Work?

BGA SportsCenter has an important scoring distinction from traditional football Squares.

Traditional Squares commonly uses the cumulative scoreboard totals at the end of each quarter.

BGA SportsCenter uses only the points scored during each individual quarter for Q1 through Q4. The FINAL checkpoint uses the cumulative final game score.

That creates five scoring checkpoints:

Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | FINAL

Example: Cleveland Browns vs. Tennessee Titans

The following scores are hypothetical and demonstrate how the BGA SportsCenter scoring rules work.

Period	Browns points	Titans points	Winning digits (CLE–TEN)
Q1	7	0	7–0
Q2	3	14	3–4
Q3	10	3	0–3
Q4	7	7	7–7
FINAL	27	24	7–4

Notice what happens in the second quarter.

The Browns score 3 points and the Titans score 14 points during Q2. The cumulative halftime score is Browns 10, Titans 14.

However, BGA SportsCenter’s Q2 winning digits are 3 and 4, because they come from points scored in Q2 alone.

At FINAL, the system uses the full game score of 27–24, producing winning digits 7 and 4.

This distinction makes understanding each checkpoint particularly important.

🔢 How Are Winning Squares Determined?

After the score for a checkpoint is finalized, the game uses the last digit of each team’s applicable score.

For example:

Browns: 27 → 7

Titans: 24 → 4

The system then locates the square where Cleveland’s number 7 intersects with Tennessee’s number 4.

If you own that square, it is the winning square for that checkpoint, subject to the game’s eligibility and payout rules.

The same square may win at multiple checkpoints if the same digit combination occurs again.

The system must also account for overtime. Q4 represents fourth-quarter scoring, while FINAL uses the actual completed game score, including overtime when applicable.

💰 How Do Prizes and Payouts Work?

BGA SportsCenter uses game-specific configuration to determine square prices, payout percentages, and payout conditions.

The five checkpoints provide potential prize opportunities, but actual awards depend on the configured rules and whether the winning square has an eligible owner.

The platform’s payment system supports BlockGators Army members using eligible account funds and guest purchases through supported Waves blockchain token payments, subject to the payment methods enabled for the game.

For blockchain purchases, payment verification is important. A detected transaction must satisfy the required verification conditions before its corresponding squares are fulfilled.

Players should review the displayed square price, payment method, prize distribution, and rules before entering.

💻 The Technology Behind BGA SportsCenter

Building an online NFL Squares platform involves much more than drawing 100 boxes on a webpage.

Behind the board is an integrated system involving web development, databases, football data providers, scheduled processing, and payment services.

PHP and Database Technology

BGA SportsCenter uses PHP and a relational database to manage information such as:

NFL matchups and kickoff schedules

Available and purchased squares

Randomized board numbers

Member and guest purchases

Payment verification and status

Quarter scoring results

Winning squares and payout records
