The way his voice comes out is so interesting, and his high vocals add something special to the song. I really like the energy both Minister Ebuka Songs and Minister Moses Bliss brought into the performance. Their voices work so well together, and it makes the song even more powerful.

‎The congregation also played a big part in making this performance enjoyable. You can feel how much the people love the song from the way they sing along and respond to the music. New Generation is a very popular song, and many people enjoy it. Although I wasn't physically present at this live performance, watching it made me feel as if I was right there among the congregation. Their energy and excitement made the whole performance even more interesting and powerful.

‎Everything about New Generation is beautiful to me. I enjoyed every moment, from the lead vocals to the backup singers and the congregation. Most especially, I enjoyed the instrumentalists because they kept the song moving with the right beats and energy. They really did a great job, and I love how all the different parts came together to make the performance so enjoyable. I am happy to share this song here with everyone in this amazing community.

Hi everyone in the #scrobble.life community!!

Since we’re already getting close to Halloween, it seemed like a good moment to analyze “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” by the Backstreet Boys, a 1997 track that in theory was born as a party anthem, but over time ended up becoming a classic for the season of witches and other monsters....👻

The song was recorded between Cheiron Studios in Stockholm and Parc Studios in Orlando, and was written and produced by the Swedish duo Max Martin and Denniz Pop, the same brains behind much of late-90s pop. I’ll pause to highlight Max Martin’s work and say that he is definitely one of the best producers of all time.

'Everybody'is a track around 108 BPM and is in a minor key; that partly explains that slightly sinister feeling: it’s not a happy melody in a major key, but rather has a harmonic tension that makes it sound darker and more theatrical. Martin and Pop’s production is active and aggressive, with a marked bass line and very hard-hitting rhythms that give it overwhelming energy.

The song’s theme
The song is about reaffirming the band’s return and inviting people to the party with a sexy and playful attitude. The lyrics keep throwing out rhetorical questions (“Am I original?”, “Am I sexual?”) that are really a way of saying “here we are again, and we’re still the best.” It’s an anthem of self-affirmation and celebration, with that mix of pop arrogance and desire to dance that made it so catchy.

Association with Halloween 🎃 and the music video 👹

We can blame the association of the song with Halloween on its rhythm and dark-toned production (intentional, I’d say), but this is where its music video comes into play. The band wanted to get away from the typical beach videos and opted for a horror story: their bus breaks down and they have to spend the night in a haunted mansion. There each member transforms into a classic monster: Brian into a werewolf, Howie into Dracula, Nick into a mummy, AJ into the Phantom of the Opera, and Kevin into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, who in an interview with Billboard recalled how peculiar the shoot was: “Suddenly I had five white guys who basically danced like R&B stars.” Kahn decided to surround them with racially diverse dancers, inspired by Michael Jackson’s videos, at a time when the music industry was struggling for inclusion. He also said that the shoot was so exhausting that Nick Carter “almost started crying” from exhaustion.

Esta canción la escuché por primera vez en mi temprana infancia. En esa época mi abuela vivía en una casa de dos plantas que había alquilado en Lídice, Catia, Caracas. En la planta superior vivíamos papá, mamá, mis cuatro hermanos y yo.
En la inferior mi abuela con mis tíos.
Un detalle que recuerdo de esa época es que como mi tío Nicolás y yo cumplíamos en el mismo mes (noviembre) decidieron celebrarnos el cumpleaños juntos.
Nunca me habían celebrado un cumpleaños así que mis tíos me compraron una piñata (un pato grandísimo) y la llenaron de caramelos de coco y los juguetitos de usanza en la época

Mi mamá se molestó mucho por esto. Bajó a buscar la piñata, me la entregó, no permitió que se invitara a niño alguno y estuve meses comiendo caramelos de coco.

Nos cantaron el cumpleaños feliz delante de una sola torta. No recuerdo cómo fue el apagado de las velitas, lo que sí recuerdo es que mi mamá no estuvo presente.

Nos mudábamos mucho, por el hecho de no tener casa propia y recuerdo que ese pato gigante nos acompañó a muchas casas diferentes en muchas mudanzas hasta que sucumbió a los avatares del tiempo dieron cuenta de él

Con respecto a la canción conocida como "Ese toro enamorado de la luna" (cuyo título es "La luna y el toro") fue obra del compositor y músico español Carlos Castellano Gómez.
La versión original salió al público en el año 1964 interpretada por la cantante y actriz española Mikaela .

From Hive to Spotify: discovering the winners of the Song Challenge [ENG-ESP]

Music has broken away from tradition in recent years. The digital age has provided powerful tools for artistic promotion, allowing musicians to reach further, connect with their fans in different ways, and showcase their work with greater impact. Music Zone understands this perfectly, and we have been working on new spaces to disseminate music created on blockchains.

We are very proud to announce that the songs of the winners of the Song Challenge editions we have held so far (@obaro & @elisonr13) are now on Spotify, thus taking the music of our community beyond the blockchains. We know that what we do empowers artists and inspires them in their careers. Thus, we are proud to be pioneers in this type of support within the Hive blockchain.

La música se ha salido de lo tradicional en los últimos años. La era digital viene ofrecido herramientas muy poderosas para la promoción artística, así los músicos pueden llegar más lejos, conectar con sus fans de distintas maneras y dándo a conocer su trabajo con más impacto. Music Zone entiende esto prefectamente, y hemos venido trabajando en nuevos espacios para difundir la música creada en la blockchains.

Estamos muy orgullosos de anunciar que las canciones de los galardonados de las ediciones del Song Challenge que llevamos hasta ahora (@obaro & @elisonr13) ya están en Spotify, para de esta manera llevar la música de nuestra comunidad más allá de la blockchins. Sabemos que esto que hacemos fortalece a los artistas y los inspira en sus carreras. Así, nos sentimos orgullosos de ser pioneros en este tipo de apoyo dentro de la blockchains de Hive.

At Musiczone, we have worked to promote the talent of the musicians and composers who are part of the Hive family. As you know, at Musiczone we hold an annual contest to encourage musical creation called Song Challenge, which has had two successful editions, reflecting our commitment to our artists and our initial proposal.

The main objective of this contest is to give artists a real opportunity, as we understand that opening the door to success involves overcoming certain challenges. So why not make that path easier for our artists, who so richly deserve it?

En musiczone hemos trabajado enfocándonos en potenciar el talento de los músicos y compositores que forman parte de toda la familia Hive. Como saben, en Musiczone realizamos anualmente un concurso para fomentar la creación musical, el mismo lleva por nombre Song Challenge el cual ha tenido con éxito dos ediciones, lo que refleja, un compromiso hacia nuestros artistas y con nuestra propuesta inicial. El objetivo principal de este concurso es brindarles una verdadera oportunidad a los artistas ya que entendemos que abrir la puerta hacia el éxito lleva algunos retos que cumplir y ¿por qué no hacerle más fácil esos caminos a nuestros artistas que tanto se lo merecen?.

A new window for the musical art of Hive [ESP-ENG]

Two years ago an idea was born, a purpose, a project that became a reality and that, without hesitation, was gaining importance in our ecosystem, offering musicians another opportunity to grow, improve and learn. This project is what we know today as Hive Music Festival. We keep moving forward, we take the next step to offer more opportunities that provide the artist the necessary motivation to continue creating content and help them to be better every day.

^{Hace dos años nace una idea, un propósito, un proyecto que se convirtió en realidad y que, sin dudarlo, fue sumando importancia en nuestro ecosistema ofreciéndole a los músicos una oportunidad más de crecer, de mejorar y de aprender. Este proyecto es el que conocemos hoy como Hive Music Festival. Seguimos avanzando, damos un siguiente paso para ofrecer más oportunidades que le proporcionen al artista la motivación necesaria para seguir creando contenido y le ayuden a ser mejor cada día.}

Developing activities, proposing plans and projects of an artistic, educational and cultural nature are only a part of the actions that are carried out in favor of our musical community. For this reason, we would like to introduce Music Zone, an idea that was born in Cumaná, Venezuela, and has been founded by Spanish speakers with the intention of becoming a global project.

^{Desarrollar actividades, proponer planes y proyectos de carácter artístico, educativo y cultural son solo una parte de las acciones que se realizan en pro de nuestra comunidad musical. Por esta razón, queremos presentarles Music Zone, una idea que nace en Cumaná, Venezuela, y ha sido fundada por hispanohablantes con la intención de convertirse en un proyecto global.}

Certainly, there are several musical communities and each of them with different contributions and purposes, however, today, we give way to Music Zone, a new project that, of course, will make a difference due to the activities that will be executed within our community in order to continue providing tools to all musicians. Remember that each community is designed and analyzed so that our ecosystem helps the growth of our artists, who are also an important part of this whole world of blocks.

In MZTV we will offer a meeting space for Hivers who love music as much as we do. We will talk in a pleasant way about musical projects, styles, among other aspects of music, making a dissection of works and taking a look at their personalities. Of course, the contestants of the Hive Music Festival will have a window of expression in this space. Each chapter will be a new encounter, each season a new experience.
